E85- Buy In Bulk?

has anyone thought about buying 44 gallon drums of race fuel for at home?

do you need a licence?

the closest outlet for me is 40ks away..... :shocked:

A mate of mine fills up a few 20l drums from the servo near his work. I don't think you can buy the E85 in bulk without a licence.

And yes, you need to use it fairly quickly as it does go off - I'm not exactly sure on the technical side of things, but the warmer it gets the worse it is to use. So keep it in a cool dry place.

I would not bother as PULP is a better all round fuel and E85 is not race fuel it is 85% ethanol blended with ULP.

If you want real race fuel you would need to get ELF or Shell Race (if it still exists) that has over 101RON.

Also storing 44gallons of fuel can be dangerous and could cause issues with insurance and council.

Why are you so keen on E85 ?

I heard that you are not allowed to store 44s of flammable liquid on a residential premises (Queensland anyway). I want to find this United 100 that everyone is talking about. Is there any in Brisbane?

zap ud know why= its the sh*t dude 99c/pl at the bowser makes a sh*t load of power if tuned right and has an octaine rating of 105 somewhere up to 7 degrees of timing can be added at same boost levels and it smells pritty to boot :beerchug:

just check the prices of c16,martini,elf and then way up the pros and cons, e85 all the way :roflmbo:

cheepest power going around :msm:
