^^^ exactly. I even had ghetto thoughts about using some small chain with some heatshrink over it to stop rattling.

Not sure.. but if it is spinning that fast then gravity is no concern, The weight will be evenly distributed and I am thinking that the angle of the diff pinion etc will determine where the damage is going to be. Of course when you start to slow down the loop will start to bear the weight.. But then again, I am not an Mechanical Engineer so who knows :)
