as above I was putting some new pads in today and noticed my brakes lines are looking pretty sh*t so im thinking befor I bother bleeding out the old fluid id replace the brake lines with something decent .

my cars a bf xr6t 6 speed auto , ive already fitted dba slotted rotors , and I run ferodo pads front and back

has anybody else bothered doing this and was it worth while ? did it give better pedal feel ......

where did you buy them from pbr say repco but befor I give them a call about how much should I expect to pay front and back also whats a good brake fluid I noticed mine is looking pretty crappy even though its only been in the car for less than 20000km

cheers trev

racebrakes sydney supplied my PBR lines for $150 for fronts. As for feel, its hard to say as I replaced caliper, rotors, pads and lines and bled them all at the same time so ofcourse it was different

Pedal feel is better, especially if you do the rears later.....

And don't spare the coin on the fluid....get the good stuff.... :wtcslap:

nah Ive had these on since the last cruise. I actually changed pads from those SBS carbon ceramic ones to just the plain Bendix HD pads. The SBS are an awesome pad and the stopping power was 3 times better than the bendix but I got sick of the noise coming from them in stop start traffic.... I might put them back on just for tomorow nights run though if I could be bothered.
