hey guys I broke my cv joint on the drivers side at the drags yesterday, does anyone know how to change these? or does anyone have a write up or a diagram on them??

any help would be much appreciated thanks

you can only buy them as a kit if you want another standard one. I believe albions do replacement joints which you could get put onto your standard axle.

I changed mine myself, it wasn't too hard to do once the car was on stands. you are going to need a deep 35mm socket to get the axle off of the hub assembly, but other than that you dont need anything special. if you do change it yourself you will need a wheel alignment when you are done, it is easy to get the rear camber wrong.

you basically have to remove the rear hub asselbly, the the axle will pull out of the diff. crack the 35mm nut (not sure if these are supposed to be single use, but I re-used mine) and knock the axle out with a rubber hammer. reverse to install the new one.
