After your experiences;

On a BF MK II fitted with injectors, larger intercooler (PW, Rapid, Nizpro), intake mod, have any forum members seen more benefit from replacing;

- Intake plenum, cat and centre muffler or;

- Full exhaust replacement however retaining standard intake plenum.

End goal is daily driving and low down torque / acceleration.

Thanks

Dave

The exhaust becomes a restriction well before the plenum. Theres a couple of blokes that have gone 10's & made into the 400 plus rwkw with the std intake manifold. Its a great mod when your trying to get every last kw out of the std setup or trying to take abit of stress out of the eng when your getting into the high 300's but the exhaust become a restriction reasonably early in the piece. The cat at the high 200's early 300's & then the small piping & basic muffler design you may see mid 300's but its not much more. You can get away with the std sized dump but you'll run less boost to make the same power.

Just my experiences anyway

:stupid:

Well said.

Fuel pump.

If you have done a 'cooler then I wouldnt worry about a plenum for a bit. Only reason I say that is it usually entails turbo inlet piping, 'cooler and then the plenum.

I have a BF2 aswell, 'cooler, exhaust, squirters and pump with plenty of meat ... next step is the plenum setup. Mate has a BA1 with squirters, pump and F6 cooler standard exhaust and has about 290rwkw 600(ish)Nm. Standard exhaust flows well enough.

Id do the exhaust, only because it wouldnt be as big on the pocket as the plenum setup. that siad, how much did you want to part with and how much power do you want to get?
