Today I went to the dealers to pick up my beast and what can I say. How on earth can you get a pretty heavy car to handle so damn nicely. I can't believe how accurate and responsive the steering is. I am still all fuzzy and happy after driving it around a bit. The power at the right foot is damn good. haven't given it much, but have given it the odd squirt. Each squirt threatens to give me wiplash. What a dream. What a car. I like it so much that I am very tempted to go now and go for a spin. The interior is fantastic. the leather look classy and I gotta say that I love the power udjstability of the seats hight/tilt etc. Class. I am a big boy and I have found it roomy inside and I still can't believe how good it looks. Only gripe I have (minor atm) is the dash. Blue is not my favourite colour to look at (have to squint) but I'll get used to it. The stereo is pretty impressive for a "factory" system. It's no where near the clarity and brillience of my Pulsar SSS's after market system, but I am impressed with it anyways. What else can I say. Anyways, I'm off for another drive and I'll have photo's taken very soon (as soon as we have daylight).

Damn happy.

Good to hear Krash!

I saw your baby getting PD'd, and all the accessories fitted, and finally departing Mitchell today, off to be delivered to you. Just beautiful! Hopefully the storms have blown over enough, and you can go for a drive and rack up some kays!!!

See you on the street mate! Enjoy!

Yep, that could've been me :) that's about the time I went up northbound on northbourne, with my dad as a passenger.

Just came back from a little drive and filling up the tank and I gotta say. Everybody is staring at me or am I just imagining it. Oh well, fun to drive, can't wait to run it in a bit. already clocked about 150 on the beast. tomorrow I plan to break the 500km barrier and then I'll start having some real fun ;)

Oh and I am trying my best not to grin, but I can't help it :)

Nope, you aren't imagining it, everyone is staring at you!!!

Enjoy it!!!!!

It is a BEAUTIFUL colour, and looks absolutely GORGEOUS!

If only I had nagged him harder... maybe he would have selected Blood Orange too... oh well, just pleased that we are getting the thrill no matter what colour.

So what are you going to name her?

:D

Looking forward to meeting you and everyone!

And will keep our eyes open for you on the streets, if you see a BA Mazda Astina (with windshield sticker coz that's 10kw moit, fully sik!) waving madly at you, that's me!!!!

Cheers!
