Bf auto

very first mod....cut the cat replaced with a straight pipe(very stupid move!!! boost cut)

then bought a capa flash tune box, problem fixed ..263kw been told that I need bigger injectors to run more power...so I walked to next step..siemens 60lbs injectors (awesome injectors) back to dyno again

291kw...after that my tuner told me that in high rev there were some detonation..ok next step is intercooler so I've choosen HDI intercooler kit because of the "LOOK".

Bad news was the cooler is too big n my intake pipe were standard, so that means I gave my turbo some extra job to produce LESS power, then I made myself a 3" intake pipe under the battery, after that the car gone crazy!!!now my car has 311kw, but the bad thing is the boost controller(after market boost controller)

cannot hold the boost stable..sometimes 15psi..sometimes 18psi..

This time my tuner said that I need the actuator and turbo remov for grind..IS IT REALLY NECESSARY????

And If I change the 3.5"dump pipe n 3.5" exhaust is going to get worse??

And also I have something good installed to my car, which is a D1 spec VSD ignition booster that thing helps my car gain 10kw at low rev 2k-3k which helps the fuel consumption

I think your boost spike problem is due to a lack of cat. I had no cat and I was boost spiking to 17psi when my car was tuned to 15psi. Put the exhaust on and now no spike

The symptoms your experiencing are due to the factory waste gates inability to flow enough gas at the boost levels your running. Fitting a smaller exhaust on to control boost isn't going to help you in the long run as it will restrict your power output in the future if you decide you want more power. Get the turbo waste gate port bored out/enlaged and this will allow you to run the boost level you desire and control it properly.

the reason the boost spilkes is cause you need the larger flapper mod on your turbo and a 12/15 psi actuator. Once these are added (set you back bout 700-1000$ then the boost will be stable and not spike. Done it to my BA turbo few weeks back

Wow learning about modding all at once the hard way there! Also I think a bird shat on your engine =O

Good power level but sounds like your tuner might need to explain the overall system effect of the mods and convince you to get it all done right and at the same time! Bit better instead of slugging you for retunes each time (I assume).
