Hi guys just looking for recommendations at what exhaust to get on my bf xr6t ute. I want something fairly quite and was wondering about brands or shops to go to, im located in springwood Qld. Also I have heard some stuff aboutneeding a tune after getting the exhaust done, is this true or can I just get the cat back done? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Ford Falcon BA BF XR6T XR8 Ute Remus Sports Exhaust - eBay Extractors, Exhausts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 30-Oct-09 19:15:15 AEDST)

Just installed this from these guys, great price for great quality. This is for axle back only though, but they can do the centre piece as well for about $750 all up. I didnt need a tune on this either. Great sound, and not too loud or droney.

I got a xforce stainless cat back, isnt too loud and has a nice note. You shouldn't need a custom tune if your only getting a catback exhaust. I ran my catback for a few months without a tune and didn't miss a beat, if you change the cat how ever you will probably need to get it tuned.

I second the Xforce twin 2.5". Mind you the Y collector is pretty ordinary in some, as in roughly assembled with bad transitions. I use a custom 3.5" section for the first piece following the cat as I have a high flow 5" cat.

I really love the sound of my car with this setup, deep, burble at idle, and nice W.O.T note. with no drone

Hey mate, I got a redback catback system done when I first got my XR6T. I needed a tune after getting mine as it running lean. Cheers
