Guys, after custom flash tuning a BA5spd XR6Turbo with roughly 270RWKs @ 11PSI, what sort of torque should it produce, I have dyno sheet but can not understand it, it shows 1042 NM. Is this possible? Coz high tourqe V8 only produce arround 600NM after any tunes. If it is really 1042 nm I cant stop loving my car then and will blow V8s away.

sounds about right

someone on here did work it out ,that the 4lt with 10psi was roughly equal to an 8lt v8 in the amount of air volume it moves through the cylinders

watch that 5spd that's a deathly amount of torque for one of those

LOL that's more torque than the Bugatti Veyrom and that has 16 cylinders and 4 turbos!!!

Sounds like tractive errort or something similiar

Its torque at the wheels I think or torque after it is altered by the transmission and the diff ratios. Im not sure but only an engine dyno can accurately give torque at the engine.

Yeah.

Peak tractive torque / diff ratio / gear ratio / dia of tyre in mm x 100 = very close to engine torque.

Eg my ute:

8700/3.73/1/321.5x100=726Nm

Have to be careful about saying the volume of air being moved by an engine because there in no mention of engine speed and volumemetric effiency.

I know that a 15L Cummins ISX at rated engine speed and full boost (1 bar) will move 47Kgs of air per minute. Doesnt some like much, but you measure the volume of 47Kgs of air!

Doubt its 1000Nm with only 270rwkw and 11 psi, your mid range urge would be massive and it would eat your 5 speed in seconds. Do you have the std clutch? Slipping? 600Nm would be a more realisitic figure.
