Our family has got a VE Calais V & the auto is sh!t house. Its slow, sloppy & soft. The zf makes it feel very ordinary. My built auto is still softer on D auto changes & obvoiusly alot firmer when im in manual not to mention a hell of alot quicker.

Trust me - after driving an M3 with the ZF auto blip down shift box(TT 6 Cyl) - if someone could crack THAT software nut a/ they'd be rich and b/ we'd be in HEAVEN. It is just a magic sensation.....

the M3's box is completely different to our ZF...and by "TT 6 cyl" I hope you don't mean twin turbo 6 cylinder, because there isn't a turbo M3.

WELL, in my old BF XR8 auto, I could manually blip it... as you down change in manual mode there's a kind of "neutral" as it changes down to the next gear, so I could just blip the throttle myself as you would in a manual...the neutral is rather long so you don't need to be too accurate either...

IK... sorry - was reading a story about the new 1 series TT6 and typing at the same time. Trust me - it was an 8. Anyways - the experience was memorable from a blippy perspective. Back to topic...
