Thanks mate. I assume that lubing the boost control solenoid would be a good idea too. I haven't had a good look under the bonnet yet but I assume they have the same solenoid setup as the BA/BF?

Touch wood, had my FG for 50,000km and everything tight as a drum, unlike my old BA where every bolt/stud on turbo and manifold would come loose regularly.

Agree with that, Tighten mine and less then 2-3 months later with not alot of driving they were slightly loose :nono: . Got me worried about the manifold falling off or leaking.

LOL, trust me you will hear the exhaust leak way before that.

So do the exhaust manifold bolts on a FG need to be retorqued during service?

Reason I ask is I'm ringing around for prices for the 15k service and some are charging up to more than $200 than others, which they claim the manifold bolts need to be checked.
