It isn't an FPV car.Regardszeke

It has been developed by PWR Performance Products, a Queensland company owned by father and son Kees and Paul Weel."..."Mr Flint said he was philosophical about the emergence of increasing competition for FPV, which evolved out of the old Tickford Vehicle Engineering when Prodrive bought in."brian

Guest Andy Guests Posted 18/09/03 12:42 AM Share Posted 18/09/03 12:42 AM Thanks zeke man for bringing this to my attention. Guess I saw fpv and the word turbo all in the one sentence and got a stiffy to quickly. Now I don’t feel as bad as before! Probably never be able to afford it anyway. If these guys are switched on they will be offering a warranty ect so it will be almost like buying a FPV. Maybe more like a CSV - athough CSV has obviously been around a lot longer and is now recognised as a manufacturer. Remember Mic Webbs SVO Falcons and the Peter Brock Falcons?Though thoes cars were mainly cosmetic in enhancements. At the very least this will put pressure on FPV to release a FPV XR6T which is what everyone has been waiting for. Lets see 300-350kw, stang T56 6speed, GT diff, GT-P brembo's, interior and body kit - that would do nicely. Maybe also offer a stripped out lightweight version and that could be the car that takes out the E55 as the quickest/fastest production sedan. So until the GT is increased I think the estimated 280kW for the FPV XR6T is probably right.
