Just give brad a ring he will have all the info/gear you need, he's great to talk to. They do complete pump assemblies and can upgrade the originals.

I'm not 100% sure if he gets the stock housing and modifies it for the ones he stocks, but from what he told me you can send in your oil pump for an upgrade in which he changes the oil pump gears and modifies the housing (I believe that includes the pressure relief and circuitry)

It was around the 800 mark to get yours upgraded or 1000-1200 (I can't remember exactly) for a brand new unit

I joined the broken oil pump club on Wed night.

I'm in the process of pulling the engine out.

Atomic charge $1050 for a complete modified pump, Ford charge $385 for a complete new one.

I'd call Brad myself if I was thinking of buying one, but for informative purposes, does anyone know what Atomic do to their pumps?

Pretty sure Brad enlarges the oil bypass valves (circuitry) so it can divert more oil away at high load points (and high rpm) to reduce the pressure on the pump and gears. I remember talking to Brad about te pumps failing after have billet gears fitted. The oil pressure can still get right up there and instead of the shock loading destroying the gears, the actual pressure inside the pump can crack the housing.
