Well I'm finally home and got to unwrap the new plenum. I will hopefully have it installed tomorrow.

I'm sure you have seen them before but here's some snaps.

well I got half way through fitting it all up today but the pipework isn't fitting properly or I'm assembling it wrong, so I'm a bit disappointed about that because the utes is out of action and confined to the shed again until this is fixed.

Looks yes, they are very nice and while many people are buying them, I think they are still unique. But the main reason is I couldn't stand the crossover and the jungle of pipework, its ridiculous, the fact that you have to take it all off to get to the coils and sparkpugs, mine would move sometimes so I would always check it. I had nizpro pipes aswell which I think were causing some of the issues. Power is just a bonus, and the concept makes sense in the fact that the air is going straight from the filter to the tb in shortest most direct manner without circling around the engine bay which adds a lot of clutter.

I hope that makes sense :buttrock:

So now every thing is ready to rock, just waiting on a replacement pipe from rapid then all systems are go. Got bored today so I installed a 10 LED strip light in the hardlid and some 12v outlets in the tray today and gave the ute an oil and filter change. The engines done just over 900 kays so far and had the time so thought what the hell, can't hurt.

Well its been a while since I've posted an update so I though I would fill yous in.

All the piping is in and I was having trouble tracking down a boost leak, but shes all fixed now. It still hasn't been re tuned yet but the new engine nearly has 7000ks on her without a hiccup. I still drive around with it under 10lb of boost, but I'm keen as to get it up to dave when he has some time so I can see what she can do. I'm thinking I should also put a surge tank on before tuning for good measure, and still have to source a new full rocker cover garnish and get it and my new rocker cover painted up.

Heres a couple of pics from the other week. hope you like her
