Welcome to the forum Mo2003turbo. And congrats on ordering such a great car. I'm in Adelaide and I know there are a few other members on here from Adelaide too. My XR6T is Narooma Blue. You can usually catch me cruising around on Friday and Saturday nights in my XR6T having lots of fun! :D

I too had a rather long wait (nearly 4 months). But it is definitely worth the wait. You will love the car.

What colour and options are you getting?

rpmjunky Exhaust Technology Goody Rd,$250,mild steel flange to flange, keep old muff just in case SWMBO winges, but found no case to answer, sounds good ,not to loud, deeper and the engine braking burble just divine.

Had a dyno before and after, more grunt down low,and yes I could feel it,one or two KW down at top end but I want it down low,

so Im happy as a pig in sh!t

If you want noise you can make it though!

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the responses....Im an old/older/mature chap who still wants to feel young, so I have gone for a little extra......

first its a brand new silver which is not available till Oct 2003 "liquid silver" warm charcoal leather, sunroof, power adjustable pedals & premium 6 stack in dash sound ....I am having the windows tinted "darkest possible" (non-metalilic ) XR6 scuff plates & mats.....so there you have ALL the details

I am very interested in the modified exhaust I see some writing about....does anybody have a contact in the industry ?

Mo

Hi Mo

I'm an old fart in Adelaide too - midlife crises all over the place maybe?!

Of course, my T is cardigan grey - the new silver (called lightning strike btw) wasn't an option when I ordered mine. I'm a bit envious, but Mrs zeke reckons HgAg looks "meaner".

Dropped into exhaust technologies today about 4pm, hoping to meet vik351 and hear the outcome of the "op" on his car. Mrs zeke wanted a recording of it too - she's a bit of a petrolhead from wayback when she had a 1275 Cooper S and she loves a nice exhaust note. (From the car - not me!!)

I understand exhaust technologies are doing a complete system on a T tomorrow, but I have to go to Yorke Peninsula for the day so I won't be able to have a look and listen.

To the other Adelaide owners/enthasiasts - any ideas about getting together at a convenient watering hole to compare notes etc? Based on the indications on the demographics, any senior citizens club or bowls club should be OK!

Being a hills dweller, I reckon lunch at the Eagle on the Hill on a Saturday or Sunday could also be a goer.

Regards

zeke
