I doubt Ford did anything to it and they said they could take the bar off and put it back on but it might not be any better. If its just doing that I might wait until I put on a cooler in a few months. As far as I can tell it hasnt had an accident and it didnt look like that a few weeks ago. Has anyone else had an issue like that or any suggestions. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62689-front-bar-alignment/ Share on other sites

Quite simple really, you bought a Ford and you expected quality control . Thank god the mechanicals are usually up to par Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62689-front-bar-alignment/#findComment-943116 Share on other sites

Henry Member 180 Member For: 22y 3m Gender: Not Telling Posted 14/10/09 11:02 AM Share Posted 14/10/09 11:02 AM Just take the grille off and look where the bumper sits on the 'rail' or whatever its called. My bumper was sitting on some high density foam so I stuffed some more under that and bingo nice and straight! You might notice as well, specially on the turbos, the drivers side light is higher than the passenger side too.I've fixed my bar and a mates so far. It's an easy job, just trial and error as I said. I didn't trust mine to Ford.. lol. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62689-front-bar-alignment/#findComment-943627 Share on other sites

I'll see if its an easy adjustment and if it is I'll do it but if not I'll wait til it comes off for a cooler upgrade in a few months anyway. It's really wierd that it has just happened all of a sudden but if its my biggest complaint I'm not doing too bad.
