Cheers [/quote] Modern CCFL globes last up to 50,000 hours. Older ones were 15,000 but that's still a long time. It's the same technology used for one type of LCD screen back-lighting. [/quote] I'm thinking I'll have a crack, but going to research more about the exact mounting after reading the fitting thread where a poster said don't glue it on the something-or-other as it looks derro. I rate my skills for this at 6/10! Mostly worried I'll end up with condensation IN my lights, might have to do it on a very dry day.
