Now has 1200km on it.Got premium sound, leather, tech pack, alloy spare, mats, mud spats, tint etc. Absolutely love it.Having never owned a turbo before, I'm not sure how it should sound. There is a slight whistle/whine from the turbo when you accelerate normally. Doesn't have to be full throttle, just normal acceleration.is it normal to hear the turbo? If you want good indication if your turbo is failing then listen to it right after you switch the engine off. Real Posted 13/10/09 01:43 AM Share Posted 13/10/09 01:43 AM yeah mate dont worry all smooth sailing here!Turbo whine is a good thing! chuck in a lower F6 CAI (cold air intake) with a K&N filter and u will have better fuel economy, little more response and a hell of a lot more induction and flutter noise! sounds like a gorguz car though congrats!
