Hey all…

Ok now first of all this topic might start a bit of uneasy questioning or I dunno abuse to those who think dropping the clutch in their XR6T is disrespectful, so I apologise for this first of all. I also apologise for my lack of understanding when it comes to all the mechanical things.

Ok so heres my story…

As of recent when it comes down to dropping the clutch at 3000 rpms to do a lil burnout (without sitting on the break) my car just seems to rev out and takes off sluggish with flutter going all over the place when pumping the accelerator, but the wheels dont seem to spin faster than the car is moving and un uninviting smell of clutch is followed soon after (its revving out to about 4500-5500 rpms). (TRACTION CONTROL IS TURNED OFF) in case that raises any questions…

I have also noticed when going around corners and clutching kicking in 2nd or 1st it does the same thing as when trying to do a burnout… the clutch seems to be gripping or not realising properly and Im not sure what the hell is going on! Now and then she works and I get her sideways down the road or paddock, but other times its almost like shes just over revving but not doing any skids what so ever.

So here is a list of my cars features… nothing major!

Full xforce system (see signature below)

siemens 60lb injectors

F6 inatke

And only a very mild tune (nothing serious)

Shes only making 243rwkws

It is a stock clutch.. But Ive never had an issue with her slipping or anything so Im lost I dont know what the problems seem to be?

you sure you are getting off the clutch quick enough? if you slip it at all at those rpm's it will flare.

if you jumping off it and its still doing that its at the end of its life.
