Here's where I'm at...I wanna pull about 30mm out of the ride height (I guess).I don't want to sacrifice too much comfort, but I'd like to increase the firmness of ride, and cornering.I'd also really like it to hook up the rears still... I've been lead to understand that tightening the ride will sacrifice the cars ability of getting the power to the ground? True/False?If I lower the car will I need to fit a camber kit to the rear?If anyone has some before and after pics of their cars, it'd be great to see em.Any idesa, recommendations or suggestions on what I may need, and costs, would be appreciated.Cheers. I find it sits a little high at the back though but that's with 19's.give your local suspension place a ring, or better yet buy the springs from coventries and do it yourself Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62597-lowering-the-turbo/#findComment-942248 Share on other sites

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 12/10/09 09:07 AM Share Posted 12/10/09 09:07 AM Mate that's way too much for Pedders, and I am led to believe the fg already runs a fairly stiff front sway bar. I went the Tein option and had all the bushes replaced with super pro and theres a lot of bushes and paid $3830They had it back three times adjusting it to get it exactly how I wanted it. At no extra cost. And I love it. It sits 45mm down at the rear and 48 at the front. The ride is much better than std till the road gets really bad, best option is to go faster lolbut it sits much flatter and the ride is much more controled and less choppy on crappy roads. And you always have the option of adjusting the rebound on them. If you change ride hight then a wheel alighnment is recomended. Would love to post a pic but I only have a msn email and cant contact any of the admin here to complain :( not that they would careI will put some up on my msn site soon But yes highly recomend going the Tein coil overs. Delivered price was $1,260 and Ultra Tune installed for $270 plus a $59 wheel alignment. Was money well spent.
