Strange Problem

Hi, ive been getting this strange problem with my xr6t. It only happens sometimes. For example ill change gears from 3rd to 4th and go to accelerate and its like there is no power there... it shakes and feels like ive changed into a wrong gear but I havent. Ill change back down then back to 4th and its fine. And the other day it was spitting and spluttering when I drove up the driveway and sat it in nuetral... any ideas would be much appreiciated

Its a 6spd manual bf, flash tuned, exhaust, inj, fmic...

how many km has your car done

does it do it after you have given it a flogging , is it high in the rev range when it mostly happens

have you checked your plugs ? coil packs how long since you changed your fuel filter

Its done 47xxx km,I drive like a grandma most the time haha, it happens around or under 4000rpm I'd say.

I only had a 45 thou service done on it a couple of weeks ago. So they should of changed the fuel filter then right? but they did leave the air filter box unclipped and the brake fluid resevoir rubber half hanging out so I'm not to sure about that... Ill check the plugs when I get a chance.

im not too sure it the fuel filter is changed at 45km service check your receipt it should have a list of what the place that done the the service claim to have done to your car

did the car drive fine befor you had it tuned

how long has it been having these problems ,

do you always use good fuel , is it running low on fuel when it happens

are you still useing the standard fuel pump

maybe try resetting your throttle position sensor ........push the throttle flat to the floor and try starting it for 3 secs or so it shouldnt start just kick over

then just start as normal

I brought the car with all the mods done already( 3+ months ago).Im Still running the standard fuel pump. The service receipt said they replaced the filter.

I always use 98 and never go under a quarter of a tank. Its only the past 2 weeks ive noticed this happening. It it only happens once then its fine. Ill try resetting the TPS tomorrow. I guess its just try one thing at a time till I find out what it is.
