hahahahahah :beerchug:

If you say it enough maybe it will come true.

perhaps you know something I don't, but the internet on my iphone works better than my hardwired broadband work (IBM) laptop. So do emails, and pdfs, and I still get people looking over my shoulder facinated that sms is so clearly displayed and easy to follow. It can run google maps quickly and smoothly (unlike my laptop). and it runs TomTom GPS.

Must be something wrong with your fingers if your getting touch screen glitches and placing phone calls you didn't want to. Never once happened to me, in fact I find it hard to believe that it not only unlocks itself but then decides to go through the phone book and ring someone.

So you might have trouble with technology, that's great, good on you. I love my iphone even though it doesn't work with my car. But I wouldn't respond to someones query about compatibility by abusing his choice of phone. :bum:

You must have a crap laptop!

Anywho, as I said, compared to my HTC, the iPhone is a joke.

As far as glitches, noone said about the phone unlocking itself!!!. A couple of friends who have iPhones have tha seme touch screen glitches and freezing issues as me.

I certainly didn't bag anyone's choice of phone, merely expressed my dissapointment with mine. After having a real smartphone, I can't see what the hype over the iPhone is about. Sure it's a trick little gadget at times, but as far as functionality goes for real world business applications, it doesn't come within a bull's roar of the Windows based phones out there. It doesn't link with Outlook tasks, and is near impossible to place attachments on emails.

That said, the only one here getting personal is you, labeling anyone who dares speak their mind about the iToy as technically ignorant.

The funniest thing is that the iphones marketing was so good that people finally realised what a smart phone could do. Once they tried the iphone and discovered it didnt meed their business needs they then searched for other phone options.

As an example blackberry sales went up massively once the iphone got released.

I've never been a Mac fan, my wifes in design so its mac this and mac that, macs do everything lalala.

but, I do have an iphone, had it a year or so and it really has been a good product.

Sure they dont have the "business" appeal, but if I lost the dam thing buisiness would become harder for me.

Ive only ever used a blackberry in the shop, and those keys killed it for me, so I chose the iphone, only because it had the biggest screen and is pretty easy to use and set-up.

I jump in the G6, plug it in (tell it we're not on an 747 lol) choose some music from it and drive off. Phone rings, tap the button on the wheel, mutes the sound, blah blah blah, hang up, music comes back on... bing bing, email comes in, have a quick look in the dead stopped traffic...

For me its a pretty darn good thing, I'm sure there's much better that do X and some that do Y worse, but I wouldnt know, Im no guru on mobile phones.

The GPS works fairly well, net connects up most of the time, emails always come in and go out without issue, txt/mms/vid mesages always come through.

Ive had a few probs with the bluetooth connecting up, usually if the ph gets disconected while driving or you answer on the ph key instead of steering wheel.

I'm not one for apps, only 2 I have are Dynolisious, and the track gps one which I havnt tried yet... but dynolishious is very cool and very accurate :)

Thumbs up

Only thing I hate is the amount of wankers that flash them around!

Try an N97

- Has a touch screen for alphanumeric with predictive text, AND a slide out QWERTY keyboard that a normal person can actually fit their fingers on

- Will do all the other wanky bits an iPhone will do, email, mp3... oh and it has 32gb built in PLUS will take a memory card.

- Has FM radio (do the Iphones have this? Not sure, I thought the older ones didn't)

- One of the best (IMO) 5 megapixel cameras I've ever seen.

- No bluetooth issues with the car ever

- OH and you don't need to leave it permanently connected to a power source!

I'm really not opposed to the iPhone but it is funny to see how vehemently their owners will defend such a fundamental flaw as shyte battery life. What good is a phone that can make coffee and give you a gobby if, if you actually use half of those functions during the course of a day, you need to take a charger with you over the weekend?!
