Cheers Mondie, Whizzer, DEVO, XRSickT.....etc.

It's just fantastic, even just cruisin' into work today, couldn't help myself, I'll have to drive it in now and then. Hell of alot better than driving the ..............................Woah, watch out, all 86 horses in the `84 model Honda Accord Hatch....."AUTO...eek"

Sitting on 100 was so painful but at the same time. Steve was right, so economical. Note is still a little louder than I would have liked cruisin' at one steady speed but it's so mean, just turn up the premium sound 2 notches.

Put the foot down, even accelerating normally, not flawing it, it rumbles very nicely yet hmmm, bit loud. Flaw it and "OMG"!!! "Did my car make that noise"?

The toll booths on the motorway would hate me already .....lol. <_< I won't do that again, I didn't give it that much, then again, I changed gears too early as I was only accellerating normally, just with more ease so to speak. I wasn't pushing it to 5000rpm+ (that's fun).

It's my fault, I asked Steve to make it loud, I got what I asked for.

<stop voices in head, must not listen, it's bad, hooning is not good>

Ahhh, better now!

Hey at least I'll be able to keep up with you lot on the next cruise hey?

The other thing, the looks I'm getting, few Ford people had to pick up their eyeballs off the floor...........Really can't get enough of this!!!

ed-au-ba-xr6, just wondering why you decided to buy the XR6N/A and modify it instead of just going straight for the XR6T?

Here we go......Everyone has heard me winge time and time again so I won't go into detail.

Mate, to cut a..........L O N G..........story short.

I wanted the TURBO, just couldn't be done.

We couldn't afford the "T" at the time. Around $420 a fortnight compared to $365, hmmm.

Just shy of $3,000 for mods on an N/A to almost bring her up to 'stock' 240T status almost 10 months down the track isn't too bad a deal. I'm happy.

Hahaha,

Yeah watch it. BARA and I will start "Team N/A"...lol.

<looks on forum for any sign of Ken>

Don't worry, I'll have a tank of BP Ultimate in her as well.

Guys I'm Kidding!!! It's going to be a FUN, no competitive nature of any kind. That's the way Steve wants it and I plan to follow suit.

One thing's for sure Scotty, you will definatley 'hear' her.

Gidday,

Just picked up the N/A XR6 last Saturday....Fantastic....over at Goose's on Sunday taking some pic's. I decided to get the stripes to be a alittle different. Can't wait to get some engine mods done too..... Goose has invited me to come to the "Dyno Day" for a look on the 27th. I am looking forward to meeting more people with the same opinion as myself for these awesome vehicles.

See you then.

Hey dude, welcome to the forum,

Any mate of the mighty 'Goose' is a mate of mine. Another N/A hey.....cool!!!!

That's what I like to see, yep, come along to the dyno day......Run it on the dyno, not enough kms....pffft......take a few trips up and down the coast. Hey, if I can clock up 1500 kms just like that within 3 days, I'm sure you can. :D

Well you will have the pleasure not only of meeting up with a great bunch of Ford enthusiasts and meeting DynoSteve who is an absolute ledgend, but, seeing and hearing an N/A at it's full potential. Well she's pretty impressive anyway. Ask Goose after he checks it out tomorrow.

BARA, I can't wait to see your baby perform! Will we be a match? <Jodie told me to say that> hehe.

Come join the ranks of BARA and me, ED....etc.

I'm enjoying too many bourbons, can't you tell, hehe.
