Hey Guy's,

I know there are/was a couple of guys into martial arts on here and want to get some advise.

I need a new outlet and hobby as I will be starting a job that will require some weekend work, so will have to retire from kicking the footy around on weekends.

I have dabbled a bit with Muay Thai, but seems to be a bit full on, RE. more about knocking out/ seriously injuring someone rather than stopping them.

I am looking for something that will keep me fit, self defence, progression of skills and a bit of a lifestyle.... Just looking for some opinions from people in the know as all the research I do just seems to be advertising for every different style.

So fire away, and thanks for the help!

Chooka

Freeze - Only really tried Muay Thai and Boxing so pretty green to all martial arts..

Julz - That looks pretty good but travelling to Brissy every Wednesday might get expensive!! lol most places seem to have set class times, need something that is a bit flexible in training times.

Jet - sitting in a bar practising that might work against the keeping fit bit!! lol

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Spot on Jules, not like the old days when it was normally one on one and you might get a black eye or a broken nose at the worse

Note to all , every different art/style region etc all have their good points, most importantly they all improve fitness, self discipline and self defence.

Just consider that before anyone want's to get their peepee outshocked.gif
