Has anyone done the change and what were the noteable differences? Advice from anyone that's gone from an under battery setup to a 3/4" CAI with airbox would be good aswell Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62416-under-battery-cai-vs-airboxed-3-cai-4-cai/ Share on other sites

But will support more eventually. I've got the PW cai box and if it ain't recieving enough air I don't know what will. Am I correct in saying that you have to do some cutting to install the Under battery cai Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/62416-under-battery-cai-vs-airboxed-3-cai-4-cai/#findComment-983761 Share on other sites

I have changed to a Rapid 4inch intake from the ubp, only cos I'm trying to 'over engineer' my car so I don't blow it up again, pmsl. That and I really wanna tidy up my engine bay... big car show on soon!It has actually crossed my mind to install a standard headlight on my drivers side, so it allows air through the 2 scollops from where the xr headlight would normally sit into my air box... I think it would look sh*tty but am gonna give it a go n e way, have a headlight from my work car I can experiment with it b4 installing my motor.
