Maybe schedule a time where site sponsors can give members info on products and/or an faq chat for people who are wanting to know stuff.

BUT there has to be a little part on the site that shows how many people are in the chat room

I didn't use the old one much cause it was a pain ...

Maybe if the software was a little better, easier to use, etc., and maybe if there was some reason to be there like info sessions, etc.,

If it's a question of just bringing back the old chat room, I say no.

I liked the chat room as it was how I got to know the guys I now talk to all the time in messenger. Its good for actually chatting to people about stuff rather than one line comments and the like in the forum!

I like the ideas of a chat with suppliers of stuff and the like its a great idea!

I say bring it back with a few changes and it will get used more!

I had the same problem (no-one on the chat room at the same time) with another web page.

We solved the problem by organising certain times that we would all meet up - eg. Sunday & Wednesday nights 8pm.

If people still want to log on other times - they can. But setting times gets heaps of people at once.
