I want a full quad system. about 1800. for cai ive been told a k&n will be more than enough.

Posted 02/10/09 03:38 AM Share Posted 02/10/09 03:38 AM Would a new exhaust not require a tune, which would void the warranty. Some dealers would also knock you back for a K&N filter as its not the standard one issued with the car. Mostly unlikely but ive heard of it happening.Best bet is asking your dealer what is acceptable with them and warranty. But its not going to be a lot. Even lowering it will void it for you. I pick it up in the morning anyways which is good..they feel like they go a lot harder than the Expensive Daewoo 6.0Litres, I guess time will tell..on the trackofcourse. The FGs seem to be anywhere between 220- 250 rwkw depending on the car and dyno. The FG will be faster as they spool up to 30%( motoring journo's) quicker due to improved inlet piping and revised turbo design

I just had the centre muffler removed and a y piece put in and it sounds pretty nice.

I had it ripped out when it was having issues and it was covered on fords warranty once it was flshed back to stock. all I had on it was a full turbo back exhaust when it went back to ford for warranty repairs and they didn't ask any questions and fixed the problems and all was well,So a full exhaust never effected my warranty! Hope that helps mate
