hi guys, word in the fpv office is that the next xr8 will be a blown 5L making 310KW and the gt will be same engine making 352KW. Figures are at Fly wheel. Due to be released July 2010.

Dont know if any of you guys have heard anything different. Have not heard anything about the T's

Cheers,

Paul

The base 5 litre is NA, not blown. Only FPV's get the blower.

Lets just say the top of the line model should give the W427 a serious run for its money, if it can get the torque down. And for a hell of a lot less money.

And no, its not GTHO, close but.

really not allowed, sorry mate. I'd really like to because its really exciting (and the SOUND! Oh the SOUND! :beerchug:) but this is intellectual property of another company (prodrive) as well as Ford North America, so I'd prefer my arse unsued and employed, sorry.

Yeah there's no doubting that it's happening, just what exactly is it going to be fitted to. GT is pretty much confirmed, XR8 is still up in the air though.
