My old ba was really bad for it, at low revs cold felt really pokie even in the 4sp auto, once warm got sluggish. I done everything I could. The ba intercoolers warm up on normal days even without a boost session and all the excess piping heats up as well. The hot air makes the car feel slugish. My power deliver was very depended of engine temp. My FG even feels pokier when cold but the difference is sweet f*ck all.If its not that, the fact that the cars run rich during warmup might have something to do with it. Cold air, cold engine that wont bump up intake temps and more fuel will make more power.Run it on a dyno if you worried, 50 to 100 bucks generally and get them to check all the boost and AFR's. Just in case.

I read that solvent based TB cleaners can damage the 'coating' that's apparently on newer model TB's... Apparently a better way to go is for a detergent based one..?Sounded like bollocks to me, and even the guy where I bought the Tb cleaner from said he'd never heard of that... Anyways, I cleaned out my TB with as little as possible and wiped away most of the excess just in case. Can anyone clear this up for me, as I was under the impression you needed a really good spray to clean it out properly. If it's not a problem, then I want to use a bit more next time I service it to really make sure I get all the gunk out...Thanks Guys, and good luck with your car Freeze. Sorry but mine is an auto. Although when I first turn the car on, it does do what you mention, although the revs are not quite as low as yours...Cheers,Dan
