Hey guys been happening for a while now and it's not bad IMO(I think) just annoying.. Just say im in traffic I move forward a few neters and as soon as I put my foot back on the clutch the revs go down to 250rpm then back up to normal revs.. Does it the most in reverse.. Is this a common problem?

cars a BA xr6t 5speed is your wondering,, and it's stock..

Also when the car is cold it seems to have balls and can feel the car pull when on boost,, once the temp hits or passes the 1/4 line (if im stationary) the revs will drop sounding like it's about to stall then back up to normal,, then the idle will be a tad rough after that,, and feels like the car has no more go in it after that happens..

Mine was doing this before I had my current problems. It would come and go and was never consistent enough for me to worry. Mine would come back to normal power after revs dropped( usually while sitting at the traffic lights etc...) revs would drop to to 2-300 rpm for a sec then back up to idle .

its normal I think, mine does the same thing and that's a 5 spd as well, I clean the TB everytime I service it, and it doesnt ever change, I notice it does the same thing whenever I turn on aircon e.t.c nothing to worry about IMO

Have you tried disconnecting your battery for a while? A dirty throttle body will not cause power loss as you describe. So many things you can check including all the basics such as fuel filter, plugs, coils, throttle body, inlet manifold gasket, air filter and even making sure your battery terminals and posts are clean while its disconnected. If all these are good then maybe get a code test done and tell them to check for pcm update.

mine even stalls some time when slowing down and changing down gears and the battery light lights up a fair bit because of the low revs.

Had error codes checked(no errors) had throttle body cleaned, computer was up to date, tighted inlet & outlet manifolds, cleaned k&N filter, disconnected battery overnite and replaced fuel filter.

still have problem

Yeah I heard the MK 1"s have an issue with the valves springs(not strong enough) aparently been addressed in the MK2

but that's a cost I cant deal with atm especially if it dosnt fix prob.

I found with my car when the aircon is on full or I have the foglights on with low beam its worse so I was thinking maybe an Alt or batt prob.
