mine was the black xr6turbo .

oh yer you run a 12.6 tuff car dude, I video'd you I think, haven't unpacked the car yet.

I might head back down on the 22nd and put the FG XR6T in, stock as a rock and on street tyres,

never been in the drags don't know much how it all works, that's why I came down to check out, some feedback would be great and things I would need?

thing I'm alittle concerned about is the burn out, obvious no point on street tyres cause you loose grip, and second mines a manual with the launch control with makes it hard to do a static burnout, is the burnout area hosed down?, if it is are you allowed drive around it?

and any decent motels close to calder, I stayed at the Keilor Motor Inn, was a freking dump! not going back there again!

edit: one last thing I know you car has to be rego'd sticker/plates but can you take your plates off before you go out on the track?

cheers.

Dan

Without a burnout you'll just wheelspin too much mate. A little one is necessary but too big will make your street tyres like ice...

Drop you tyre pressures to ~25psi, little burnout & let the launch control do it's thing. Don't worry about the lights as your time starts when you move off the line. Just stall it up, get ready & take off when you're comfortable. Once you have the launch down pat you can start staging earlier & racing the car next to you :crybaby:

Would you drop the tyre pressure in a set of 18s to 25psi???

Does anyone know if you can install launch control on a BA or BF??? I am interested in getting something like this on mine if possible...
