Congrats on the 11's for you and your customers cars.Did you try dropping pressure in the tyres or doing a bigger burnout??

I dont have as much power as you or a hi stall but when I did a 1.7 60foot my pressures were around 14psi in the MT'S..

I dont know about danny but mine was at 20 psi and I have the same power as you 300 0n the dot :buttrock:

I had 1.8 60 ft for the 11.8 pass

I had 20psi in them as well.

Just picked up the slicks from the tyre joint as I was complaining about a viabration, as in the webbox it was almost like it was axle hopping, turns out one wheel was 150grams of balancing out, so much they cracked the slick off and rotated it on the rim to try balancing it off. Maybe that explains why I broke out a little in traction on my last run.

I was only stalling like 2200rpm with my 1.8 60 foots. Remebering I have a 2600rpm convertor..

Anyways can't wait till say next week to try it again as 11.7 aint my personal best :P

I will drop my tyre presures down to 12psi also and see how I go..

Hopefully get my 60foot down to give a true indication of my cars potential :)

well I went for he first time last time and had 4 runs lets just say I need practice hahha the best time I could get

was a 13.3 with a sh*tt 2.191 60 foots at 169.40kmh with full weight and street tyres and almost full tank.

all the rest of my runs were bad with just poor 60fts and to much wheel spin. ohwell was great fun though

and good to see alot of fast XR6T & Typhoons.

cant wait to go again and do better!!

ps: ill post a few videos up soon

Here comes the excuses.....

4 in one post... :roflmbo:

excuses?

I admit I can't get out of the hole for sh*t when it comes to launching my car. that's partly driver related and tyre related. Why don't you bring your rig down next time dag's and watch me hand your arse to you and your stocker...Ohhhh bring your knee pads to mate because you will want a tune at the end of it :roflmbo:

Yer was tricky trying to hook up the 20s I couldnt get my 60ft under 2.042 (GAY).... Could only manage a 12.36 @ 186.79kph. Hope the weather is good again next Friday I wana try get my E.T. closer to 12.10 before I go to slicks...

Dude 12.3 is pretty good for a stock auto and running 20's, dont forget with the 20's because the profile is so low we cant drop the tyre pressure or the tyre will come off rim. The only way you will get a good time out of the 20's is if its brand new rubber or work your auto.

But you never know it could be done, when I run my 20's I had half tread and I couldnt stall past 1900 with out the tyre frying out of the box so if you can stall higher with out spining you might have a chance.

I think it was good time :spoton:
