Changed my injectors from Siemens 60lb to Bosch 968 42lb... Also had the clutch upgraded...

Power is now 351.3 rwkw @ 16 psi...

Not sure why the power increase? Might have been the day, or just cause we did less power runs?

Why did I upgrade (or downgrade) the injectors?

I have liquid gas installed on my car... The gas injectors are mapped exactly the same as the petrol injectors... And hence, when I was running 60lb injectors and making 335rwkw, I was only using 65% duty cycle on the injectors... When we ran the gas injectors @ 65% duty cycle, the car didn't get enough fuel for the tune... So we increased the duty cycle on the petrol injectors and let the ECU allow for the extra fuel.... It worked on gas, but not very well... So we tried to get bigger gas injectors... No one makes them.. Thought about running twin injectors into each cylinder or just run extra injectors... Too expensive if everyone who wants to go down this track has to use this option...

Ended up working with Mick and the boys at Australian LPG Warehouse to work out that we should change the petrol injectors to 42lb and run them @ 100% duty cycle... This way, we can run gas injectors at a high duty cycle as well and it should work. They tested some bigger injectors and high flowed them... Reckon they will work... Will see this week... Petrol runs like a dream... Could possible pick up a bit more KW @ the wheels with gas as it is a higher RON rating (100% propane is 112RON) compared to 98 octane petrol...

Will see how it goes... Very happy with 350 though... Although, when it doesn't go to the road, it seems a little pointless... Most of the KW is used chewing up me rubber... Since I have had 300+ my tyres seem to be disappearing very quickly...

turboworm , you didnt turn up at calder . went and had a few runs got my best pb 12.6 115mph 60ft 2.09 .

Nice work... What you running? BA/F? Man/Auto.. RWKW?

To tell you the truth... I am shattered...

Weather said there was going to be storms... Given that I live ~90km away from Calder, I wasnt sure what was happening, but when I looked outside at 11am, it was black... So I told my wife I could take my daughter to her swim lesson... Anyway... got home from that at 1:30pm... And it was spitting on the way home... So I thought, nah, not worth my afternoon...

Then at 3:30 I got a message from Kyle saying the weather was good and he was running mid-high12's... And the weather was ok... I was out, but if I had my helmet and long sleeves on I would have driven straight there... Also had the baby seat in the back...

Ah well... I thought even if it was spitting it would be pointless, as I cant get grip on a dry track, so a wet one would be hopeless....

There's always next time...
