I intended to get mags on mine nearly straight away, however I now like the 18" stockos... so I decided a full size spare would be cool, so I spoke to a sales manager (that's the first mistake I made) who said that a full size spare and tyre would be at least over $1000 and he wouldn't be suprised if it was up to $2000... haha tell him his dreaming!

Funny enough I Didn't follow it any further.

Team Grandpa my ass - I think we should rename 'team good taste'.

Yeah, I was afraid of this... but I think the extra boot space has swayed me towards a space saver spare anyway. Maybe I'll just leave it up to fate to decide whether I get one or not? :P

Also, I have read in a couple of magazines that the 19" make the ride a little harsher than the 18" stockers. Has anyone driven both? Care to elaborate? Is it as bad as they make out? Do the 19" also improve handling/grip or is it simple a harsher ride?

Haven't driven both but the general principle would suggest a little harsher ride. Having said that I personally haven't seen too many G6E's in turbo guise in anything BUT the 19s so it can't be too bad if all the grandpas out there are happy on the bigger hoops

(edit: spelling)

Yeah, sometimes I think these Wheels/MOTOR guys are a little picky. I suppose they have to be - that's their job!

LOL, I'm getting the slight feeling that perhaps the majority of owners of the G6ET *aren't* grandpas... I reckon they're all 28-30 yo's!

Oops forget I said anything! I think I need a Bex and a lie down. When is Matlock on next?!
