Hi All

In the past week I have driven from Sydney to Brisbane , Brisbane to the Gold Coast , Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast , Sunshine Coast to Gold Coast, Gold Coast to Brisbane and finally Brisbane to Sydney again.

Now, there should have been hours of driving pleasure, sunroof open , a good selection of tunes and the open road with the Phoon ready for a good blat or seven.

But no, every single bit of road that was not dual carriageway was farking ruined by convoys of Grey Nomads driving or towing Winebegos, Expanders, and all manner of farking mobile accomodation. eg. a four wheeler caravan being towed by a farking Camry bangcomputer.gifbangcomputer.gif

This in its self is not the issue. The fact that they can't go up a 5 degree incline without dropping back to first and fail to achieve 20 - 50 ks below the posted limit. Pull over you say ! Fark no. Kilometres of traffic backed up and causing all and sundry to get on the picks 2 ks back when the road is not flatfool.gif

Yes. they can be passed with a decent stretch of road, however, one does not look at the speedo when starting from a roll on in second and rowing the gears to 5000rpm to pass the farkers whilst politely gesticulating out of the sunroof.omg1.gif

So what do we do to deal with these abominations ? I saw some underpowered cars only just avoid head ons after attempting to pass these road hogging cretins out of frustration.

I live in grey nomad central. They are a bloody pain in the ar$e for 6mths of the year up here because our winters are so good they all migrate up from mexico or some place called victoria. Ive been driving my mrs brand new focus for the last couple of months & its damn near dangereous to overtake them. In mine it was no prob I could just plant it nearly anywhere & could safely overtake but like you jules ive seen a couple of close calls from the juice boxes trying to overtake where there really isnt any room. There a bunch of whinging tyre kickers as well when they come into work. Thank F*&k winters over that's all I can say.

So many ideas come to mind which may assist with this problem...

However, each is coupled with rage and clouded by so much anger...

Best I keep them to myself in this case I feel...

FARKING KARAVAN KANTS!!!!!

:fishin::buttrock::fish::hag: NNNNOOOOO NONE OF THIS CRAP....

JUST GET THE FARK OFF THE ROAD!!!!

IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF HOLIDAY YOU WANT - GET ON A BUS TOUR, OR TAKE A FARKING CRUSE!!!

THERE ARE MEANS OF TRANSPORT TO GET YOU THERE FASTER SO THAT YOU MAY HAVE MORE TIME TO RELAX... ITS CALLED A FARKING PLANE!!!

Sorry for my out burst... its been one of those months!!!

now where has that bottle of grey goose gone too?

:outahere:
