Was a good night.

I had a 370rwkw CV tune before I went and managed a best of 12.6 at 120mph.

I had a 3.45 diff in after trashing the 4.1 and I couldn't get a handle on the launches.

IceMyButt got kicked out, dunno if he was happy with the time but it was a bit of a handful down the track. I thought he would've backed off and had another run. It was a PB AFAIK

Met a few forum members too, even one from Victoria. A bit envious of the WSID facilities hey Adam?

Yes very jealous, the setup you guys have is very good, possibly better than Motorplex even. Well I found out Calder is re opening in November so I will have to settle for second best. Was a good night, the near punch-on was pretty funny too!

fark Phil , looks like a bit of work done under the bonnet since I saw your beast lastshocked.gif

Congrats on the PB , nines are a formality by the sounds of things3gears.gif

Jules - things are coming along slowly but surely. Once we get the cage in we can start to think about really winding her up and seeing how long the rear end and gearbox last. Then its off to the 4-link and 9 inch. Gotta try and get NSW back on the map. You should hear the car in the flesh - it's off it's head! :dontknow:

Its actually a slightly older engine pic - now that we have got rid of the standard ecu completely it is much neater, and we have a new set of coil packs which are a bit beefier now.

Very good effort by Dario last night in ZF BF F6, a new Tunehouse customer.

His first time to the track, 11.0 and 130mph

PW IC & plenum, Tunehouse exhaust & tune.

Very good considering ZF is flaring. So close to a 10!

Brian

The ZF was more than flaring it could barely turn the tyres during the burnout and Dario reported that it was taking ages to change gears.

Not a bad effort for a full weight car on ET streets with a stufded box ...

I saw the 10.2 sec run and that car of yours, Phil, is definitely going to run in the 9s. I took some video with someone elses video camera. I will try and get the footage.

John_K, 121MPH on street tyres is moving!! You should be able to run a mid to high 11 sec pass on the street tyres if you can only get that first 330ft sorted.

Can't be too dissapointed with getting booted for a 10.2!

I'm sure he would've prefered to get booted for running a 9 sec pass.

Yeah definitely had high hopes, but when it's all riding on one pass - which was all we were ever really likely to get - then it is asking a bit much. It shouldn't be too long now and we will get back in the mix. There are a couple of tough NSW cars coming through development so I expect it wont be long before NSW steps it up big time.

Jules - daily driving duties are pretty much done with now, the car is pretty much only going to be used for racing. :roflmbo:
