I decided to live with it for now until I go on annual leave for Christmas; the two inside ones still looks OK (after I put in the new hi/lo globes).

If your considering doing this, make sure you check your soldering on the wiring when purchasing.

Mine was very cheap and "stingy" lol I had to solder it all again..

This takes alot of patience... :beerchug:

Also watch out for dust on those shiny black parts. Don't wipe it either or it scratches, even with cotton wool.

has anyone had any problems with the black boxes that connect to the halos? I noticed two halos didnt light up on one side of my car this morning....everything was connected right but the little black box got hot very fast. Then I noticed there was a straight line of burnt plastic that buldged out above the cables that lead to the halos. I took some pics and will upload them later....I have put my F.E back in the car just incase it catches alight lol

anyone else had any problems with them??? Id say its pretty rare for this to happen and they have been in there awhile now...

One of my power boxes died, I ordered 2 more so I have a spare. Have been fine for almost a year now though! I think it was the engine bay heat as it was the one above the turbo hot side piping. Some wire shaped melt marks were visible on the flat sides of the box but it looked like they got there from resting on a hot edge.

See the best thing about the LED lights on mine is that they dont come with any transformer box.. it doesnt need it. The current from the standard battery and wiring loom is sufficient.
