I painted the upper and lower grilles as well as the foglight surrounds on my G6ET.

Speaking of stuff ups, I was at the local ford dealer yesterday just looking around and noticed a brand new G6ET out the back with one "blacked out" headlight and one chrome headlight..... The salesman I spoke to said they are offering the buyer the choice of which one is changed.

Hi guys,

Now confirmed it was a stuff up, and ford will make good.

I think I will stay with the fog lamp surrounds, but go with the silver botto grill. I always thougt it was the fog light surrounds that make it a bit overdone on the front.

What does a blacked-out headlamp look like as distinguished from chrome? I originally had my grey fog lamp surrounds colour-coded, but everyone (albeit the uneducated) comments that they thought it was a dressed-up G6! Not happy, but I'm undecided which looks better, actually.

The standard blacked out headlights are on every model (not including the XR's) other than the G6ET (FPV's also use the standard blacked out headlights).
