OK so I have some local dogs that wander the streets and a lot of the time end up in my back yard. Do I shut the gates and call the council and get them to pickup the dog or do I just keep yelling at the *beep*'s to get the hell out of my yard? Don't get me wrong I am a fan of both dogs and catz. I used to have 2 dogs and have 3 cats. It just frustrates me the owners that do not look after there pets.

Sometimes this is the only course of action - it's called "compulsory education".

Pound fees = lets think twice about Spot cr@pping on all the lawns in the street!

Mate, when they come get out the hose and give em a squirt!

Do this a few times and if they keep coming back then call the council...

This should do the trick!

best thing I think is to call the council after closing the gate.

if they wont come out right away tell them its a pit bull that will get them moving, when they say that's no pitty say it looks like one to me.

Most obvious is to keep your gate closed, it's not the dogs fault that its owner lets it roam around, and its not the dogs fault that it walks into your yard.

Cruelty toward animals is plain stupidity, found out where they come from and give the owner a stern warning, not the animal.

As a pet owner, if I caught anyone being cruel to my pets, I would harm that person. This is the second thread where people have recommended harming the animal to teach it a lesson...

Calm down South, he's joking FFS. :spoton:

I vote call the pound - teach the stupid owners a lesson.

One of my neighbours used to let her dog loose and it would always crap on my front lawn...picking it up and leaving it on her door mat seemed to get the message across.

I'd love to do that tab. Some how I think I might lose with my neighbour on that one. I have politely asked for them to keep the dog in their back yard and stop sh*tting on my front lawn and to no avail! All dogs can be trained! However some owners just don't know what the right thing to do is!
