My BA had all the same issues and at its worst would have been eaten by the average shopping trolley.Plugs...not sure which ones you used but they need to be gapped to 0.8mm NOT 1.1mm as many come gapped at in the box.Aside from that mine improved one step at a time.Fuel filter made a difference.Throttle body clean took away the tendency to surge and hunt.Boost solenoid clean fixed much of the lack of power.Working through every boost and vacume hose identified many that were a little worse for wear and/or seriously loose.Just some options though there are plenty more. cranners Member 56 Member For: 16y 1m 13d Posted 19/10/09 11:49 PM Author Share Posted 19/10/09 11:49 PM Re-gapped my plugs last night from 1.1 to 0.8 and the car is still running as bad...It has to be electrical because it kind of runs fine and then starts playing up...pull over turn it off and back on and fine again...Really has me and a few mechinicly minded friends puzzled..
