ive had 1400kg in 2 pallets with the tailgate open....... scrubbed the crap out of the exhaust and tyres but still made villawood to botany(bout 35 kms) in broad daylight and peek traffic.

I was keen as but paid heavly with a screwed up diff......... never again will I be doing that again.

hahah!! damn... the load was not really worth paying for a replaced diff was it :P

Not heavy by any means, but as an apprentice my tyrant of a boss used to make me carry 10mtr lengths of colorbond gutter on the top of the old work ute.

that's twice the length of the car.

Eventually we got pulled up by the RTA. I explained to the guy that I was damned either way. Either I carried the load or my boss would find someone else to do it and I would be out of a job. He didn't book me but went for the jugular on my boss.

After that the boss got the company who made the sh*t to deliver it to site. Funny about that.

this load beats all :nyaah: - :icon_ford: wouldnt think two bikes would dump the utes so much will ahve to keep that in mind when I load mine and the missus' bike on

Your a classic Ace. :shocked:

In my old AU XR8 I moved 3.5 tonne of soil in one day. First trip was the heaviest at 1.1tonne. I too learnt a lesson the hard way as the gearbox was rooted after it. Still managed to get a 20K trade in for it in 2006.

Tuddles is about all the weight ive put in the back of the FG so far.
