Came back for them in three loads.Rears were 'reset' pedders lowered springs... never again will I lower a ute and/or run wheels with offset! Tore through one sidewall, changed the spare, dumped half the load and kept driving!

Chaos310 Donating Members 228 Member For: 12y 2m 13d Gender: Male Posted 21/03/14 01:04 PM Share Posted 21/03/14 01:04 PM I loaded my BA XR8 up with recon limestone blocks 500x300x250... I think I had to take about 8 out to get it off the bump stops... after driving 15km to get them all home.. took 3 trips.. big ute loved it!!Another time was the ute loaded with fastwall bricks ( 1 pack ) and 2 packs in a tandem axle trailer behind.... brakes did not appreciate it, they let off a fierce smell to let me know too! psychoxr6turbo Member 9 Member For: 10y 3m Posted 01/10/14 02:31 AM Share Posted 01/10/14 02:31 AM Well I know its not a ute but in my humble opinion its to small to be classed as a truck but all in all I would have to have been 3 or 4 ton over. The brakes, gearbox and bump stops hated it

Bennydrift New Member 2 Member For: 9y 8m 22d Posted 27/03/15 04:57 PM Share Posted 27/03/15 04:57 PM I'm a tree lopper, so my ba tradesman povert pack work ute has copped a significant beating repeatedly. The most I had was 2200kg of logs. The crane driver thought it was going to collapse. The diff welded itself up that day. If it had a manual it would have killed the clutch. In my bf xr6t ute the most I have had is the weight of my toolbox, climbing gear, saws etc. so about 150-200kg
