Hey Everyone,

Im new here and did a search which did not answer my questions unfortunately.

I have stock 17s on my XR6T and was wondering if 245 tyres will fit with no dramas, also does anyone have a suggestion as to what tyre to get?

It currently has Toyo Teos, which seem ok.. The wheel alignment is out so the front two are screwed and need replacing and I want to get something good.

A mate suggested Falken RT 615s but they do not come in 235, so not sure if I can push the 245.. The guy at the tyre store suggested Falken ZE912 which are pretty cheap ($175!!)

I am open to suggestions as im finding it hard to find decent reviews online.

Thanks in advance

Jandrew

245s will fit no problem mate :beerchug:

As for Tyres, everyone has their own opinion, so just go with what you know and what you like the look of. Don't spend peanuts though he tyres are the only thing that touches the road, so spend as much as you can afford on the things!

Try the Sumitomo HTRZ111s,you wont be dissapointed.

The 235/45/17 in Sumitomo is as fat as the old Proxxy4s I had that were 245/45/17.

After a few 100kms these tyres rock.Features that only topline tyres have.

Stay away from the ZEX912,even though their made in the same factory as Sumitomo and have 99% same tread pattern the rubber compound is nowhere in the leage as the Sumis.Got 4 of mine for 800$ fitted. Was the perfect compliment for my convertor.

Punch in Sumitomo HTRZ111 reviews, their are heaps.
