BF_F6Shockwave Member 444 Member For: 15y 11m 29d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 01/11/09 11:31 AM Author Share Posted 01/11/09 11:31 AM yeah it was a great weekend agan f*#king hot, 31 yesterday and 32 today.. car ran really well considering the heat consistent in the 8.7 - 8.8 for the 1/8th on a track that is not good for traction but good fun.. got 9 runs over the weekend as follows:Saturday - Practice (all heads up racing)vs moddified RX7 - winvs EVO 6 Lancer - winvs new 6.0L SS commodore - winvs BF MkII Phoon Auto - winSunday - Qualifying (heads up again)vs XU1 Torana 253cu - winvs tricked up nissan Silvia - winSunday - Eliminations (DYO Racing, I dialed in a 8.75)vs BF MkII Phoon Auto - winvs Ford GT40 replica - winvs shortened & tubbed hilux running a 351cu - lost by 0.04 of a second, that was the semi finals and he went on to win, I was 10kms faster across the line and might have got him had I not had such a sh*tty 2-3 gear change, but u get that LOL I still had a great weekend.There was the BF Mk II phoon that I raced, a BA manual phoon and a nicely tricked up red XR6T (from tamworth) out there, he ran hard but I didnt get to race him, sounded like he was runnin a heap of boost, I think he was runnin about 8.3 - 8.5 ?? he was one of the lowest dial in of all the proper street regsteded cars out there, there were a couple runnin faster with rego but they are not the sort of cars that you would regularly drive around. Actually I think the Phoons & the XR6T's were all amoungst the top of what you would call "street cars" that were out there. pretty much all the other cars that were running less than 9 second times were trailer queenssays alot for these beasts that we drive :smilelove: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
