Thanks for that, I'll have a read.

As I said, this is only one of quite a few problems the box is having and no one can seem to fix it. I know BTR's in EB Falcons with 300,000+ KM that are smoother than mine.

I actually did tell the service manager at the dealership, "If this is Germanys finest and the best they can do, let me know where I can convert back to a 4 spped BTR".

Happening to my FG F6 as well, just started noticing a slight shud when slowing to about 5-10 km/ph and its going from 2-1

Then today, I seriously thought someone had gone up the back of the ute! It was a serious thump.

I spoke to a mechanic and they started talking about the adaptive learn blah blah.

Done 11,900 kms - ill keep on it, still plenty of warranty left and car is still stock.

I drive mine in manual so I have no problems with the 2-1 shunt but lately my ZF has been playing up alot.

Would flare alot and not change gear properly in gears 1,2,3. Had it serviced with trans max z oil and problem solved.

I think it all comes down to maintenance, especially if these cars are running well above stock power levels, you really need to service them ~ every 5000k's (which is what I'll be doing from now on!)
