It will handle boost, spark, afr, timing etc and factory ecu can remain untouched. I don't know how far you could go in this setup without touching anything on the factory ecu. This is assuming all other modded componets that are visible had been removed, I assume the fg would possibly be a similar scenario. Filter should not have any influence..should it?Technically, I am sure if they wanted to they could kick up a stink if something went wrong. I am not not sure what they consist of?Something like a unichip would be interesting where it intercepts the fuel and spark signals being sent to the engine from the ecu and modifies them. Surely the stock ecu couldnt tell anything from that. You would have to do a really good job of the install so everything is hidden.I just thought this would be an interesting discussion as I am sure there are many people with FG's thinking hmmm to mod or not to mod...
