Bov For G6E Turbo

Hey,

Has anyone got the name of a direct replacement BOV that actually makes a noise.

Not looking to do any mods with piping or any other bullsh*t...just undo replace and tighten again....something I could do because my mechanical ability is

Well you can either turn the stock one around and block the return hose to the crossover - mega easy and mega cheap - or you can buy a turbosmart kompact series dual port that fits directly onto the factory piping, mega easy too, but a bit more pricey

I have a go fast bits one on mine, all it required was a slight trim of the stock return hose to fit.

I probably can mate, although you can generally get them through Autobarn and the like. Let me know if you have no luck and I'll try and sort something out

Now whos gunna explain the whole wastegate thingy and why it is diffrent to an aftermarket BOV

Dont they both expell excess gases?

OK, BOV vents excess intake air when the throttle sh*ts, and the wastegate controls how much exhaust gas goes through the turbo or is diverted past the turbo to control boost.

that's the easiest way to explain it I guess!
