(same as XR2DY4's) ...because I live in Perth I dont have ppl such as phat customs or the like over here to graft the fiberglass to my orginal metal bonnet...can any1 give me a rough idea how hard it is??? or at least where I can get it done in WA???Or even better does any1 have a link to a write up of how to do it???anything would be appreciated!!cheers guys! Basically get the fibreglass mould, and depending how the edges of the mould have been designed, cut them a bit so they form perfect right angles (ie an edge), that you can build body filler up on (ie from the bonnet to the bonnet bulge). To attatch the mould, again depending on how thick it is you would need to glue then make small grooves in the fibreglass to rivet through, making sure they rivets are deep enough to not protude once you start putting body filler over them. I actually took my bonnet off car today and put stock back on.. aparently a bonnet like that smells like slop and attracs piggies.. give it a month and put it back on..car runs soooo much cooler aswell with the slot..
