I have payed thru paypal and the money has been taken from my account and on my paypal account it has said itd been deposited in his. YET he is saying that he hasnt recieved his money. He has been pretty co-oprative in talking to me so I sort of belive him. but I was wondering where I can go from here. ive even gon as far as to send him a screen grab of my account page with the proof on it. has anyone had anything like this happen, and what did you, or what can I do about it.can paypal sort this out.Cheers Edited 15/09/09 10:55 AM by mjadeb1984

If they dont see it in their account, then something is definitely up. Are you sure its the correct seller/username? Contact ebay/paypal if you cant sort it out. The reason to you paypal is for security. Yes as soon as you make a payment the money cones off your credit card, but that doesnt mean its deposited into theirs, paypals holds it as such. If you havent recieved the item, you can always make a claim and have the money returned to your account.

Let him know your exact plans. Let him know you believe (even if you don't) that the transaction got lost. By opening the dispute, the money should be returned from where ever it went and you can send it back to him. just double check his paypal address.Paypal Echeque's can take 6 WORKING days to clear, but I don't think that is the problem with this one. Also, as a ebay seller for 4 years, I have never heard of a paypal payment "going missing"!!!I do think he typed in the paypal account wrong when listing the item, hence why he hasn't received the payment.
