pezzaxr6t Member 30 Member For: 15y 10m 21d Gender: Male Location: perth Posted 14/09/09 01:38 PM Share Posted 14/09/09 01:38 PM hey guys tomoro im swaping my xr boot (with spoiler) for a standard xt boot lid with no spoiler soo.. its all good just gota bolt it on and feed the wires through the boot skeleton BUT the guy im swapin boot lids with, I dont think his wiring has a lug that plugs into the spoiler light and brings on the spoiler break light. so am I right? what should I do?? So the easiest way to do it would be to remove your lug (see where is connects up to in your xr6t) and trace the same brake wires in the XT and tap into hes wiring, the same way yours is done from factory. foxtrot Member 77 Member For: 16y 4m 10d Posted 15/09/09 08:44 AM Share Posted 15/09/09 08:44 AM Hi to easy just remove rear seat then fold down backrests remove side bolsters child anchor point and the pleg on the other side and 4 small xmas tree clips, lift out rear shelf and unplug the loom just in the drivers corner, then also swap the high level brake light with the dummy one in your car ( the plug for this should be taped to the speaker wiring buy it may not have a globe socket so swap that as well ). cheers MD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
